I have been consistently creating sculptures of the human figure since 2011, and currently have a studio in Shiogama City, my hometown, where I continue to work daily to develop new expressions of the human figure. 
Recently, I have been working on portrait sculptures, focusing on the beauty of each individual model, and have recently moved away from the pursuit of my own ideal expression of the human figure that I had pursued until recently.
私は2011年から一貫して人体像彫刻の制作を行っており、現在は地元塩竃市にアトリエを構え、新たな人体像の表現を開拓しようと日々制作を続けています。
近年まで追求してきた自身の理想とする人体像表現の追求から離れ、最近はモデル一人一人の美しさにじっくりと向き合った肖像彫刻に取り組んでいます。
AMI YOSHIDA
Born in Miyagi Prefecture in 1994, graduated from the Sculpture Course at Tohoku University of Arts and Design in 2017, and currently serving as a part-time lecturer at Tohoku University of Arts and Design since 2023.
